What is osteopathy ?
An effective approach to well -being
Osteopathy considers the body as an interconnected system where each part affects the whole. Our treatments focus on the root causes of your discomfort, taking into account physical, emotional and lifestyle factors, to provide comprehensive care that promotes long-term health.
An osteopath (DO) is a medical specialist who requires 6 years of intensive study (normally in Canada or Europe) focused on anatomy and what causes the majority of pain and discomfort, from headaches to digestive discomfort, back pain and persistent tendonitis .
It is designed for muscle, nervous or bodily discomfort with the declared objective of correcting the problem. My therapy consists mainly of applying specific types of pressure to the body, not necessarily cracking, especially avoiding doing so to cervical or lumbar vertebrae , since this has proven to be dangerous in some cases.
Therapy... focused on results
Osteopathy was not created solely to temporarily reduce symptoms, but to help the body correct the problem. Through precise and gentle manipulations, the osteopath, acting as a "biomechanist", detects the mechanism of injury and aims to realign the structure of your body, improving its function and reducing pain. The exercises and tips provided help maintain results and prevent future re-aggravation.
By addressing imbalances in the musculoskeletal system, we help your body return to its natural state of harmony, promoting overall health and well-being.
What does an Osteopath do?
An osteopath uses physical manipulation to increase joint mobility, relieve muscle tension, and improve blood supply to tissues. The goal of treatment is to improve the overall health of all body systems by manipulating and strengthening the body, in my case, avoiding "crack" as much as possible.
Detects, treats and prevents health problems by stretching and manipulating the patient's muscles, joints and connective tissues. Non-invasive techniques and treatments are based on a holistic view of the human body, where it is important that the body structures work together. That is, organs, glands, bones, muscles, ligaments, along with the nervous and circulatory system.
Osteopaths also offer advice on posture, exercises that help in quick recovery and preventing recurrence of symptoms. Osteopaths tend to spend more time manually treating the patient than other therapists.
A typical osteopathy session involves a questionnaire and assessment procedure so that the osteopath can determine what they consider to be the problem. Physical manipulation is used to decrease symptoms, which may be felt immediately or shortly afterward. Prevention advice is also provided.

Dr. Conrad Rozycki
Valuing a structural and myofascial approach, he seeks a mutual commitment with consistent results. Having worked for years in a hospital setting (neonatology, intensive care and long-term care), he understands what this approach can bring in terms of positive results compared to routine methods.
He first discovered osteopathy as a patient. When conventional methods had failed, he suddenly found his passion. He uses his understanding of acute and chronic pain as a conduit to his patients, which contributes to their motivation. Through communication and a discerning touch, he strives to guide the patient toward recovery.
Conrad has worked with young and old people from various walks of life, relying on empathy to bridge the apparent divide. Increasing a patient's understanding of their own body's ups and downs is key to personalizing a treatment that the patient can believe in. As they say, it takes two to tango.
Curious, attentive, sincere and committed, he seeks to identify the patient's disharmony. Considering rehabilitating patients through manual therapy as a personal gratification, he feels honored to be where he is today.
He speaks English, French and practices his Spanish.
